Description:
In an effort to increase awareness of drinking on campus, Grand Valley State University is participating in National Alcohol Screening Day (NASD), on April 11, 2013. NASD is a one-day education and screening event designed to raise awareness on how alcohol affects health and academic performance; help individuals evaluate their alcohol use; and provide information about support and treatment resources on-campus. As part of this event, students can take a brief alcohol screening questionnaire. The entire process is completely confidential. Those who complete the questionnaire will have the opportunity to meet with a counselor to discuss their results. To learn more about times and locations of this event around campus, please visit www.gvsu.edu/counsel.
