In conjunction with Theatre at Grand Valley's Mainstage production, KINDERTRANSPORT, survivor of the 1939 Kindertransport, John Rosen, will speak at the Mary Idema Pew Library at 4:00 p.m., November 5, 2013.
This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Meijer Honors College. Seating is limited.
KINDERTRANSPORT performances are November 15, 16, 21, and 22 at 7:30pm and November 17 and 23 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are available at the Louis Armstrong Theatre box office, the 20-20 Desk in the Kirkhof Center, Startickets.com, and by calling 616-331-2300. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for faculty/staff/seniors, and $6 for all students.
An exhibit, The Kindertransport Journey, is on loan from the Holocaust Memorial and will be on view at the Mary Idema Pew Library from November 1 - 24, 2013. This exhibit is sponsored by GVSU Hillel and GVSU Office of Multicultural Affairs and is free and open to the public.
