Intro to Orienteering

Orienteering is a must-have skill for anyone who is interested in traveling in the backcountry. This workshop will explain the basics of reading a topographic map, plotting coordinates, and navigating with a map and compass.
With our new shorter format, this workshop will not include hands-on practice course in the ravines as in years past. However, compasses will be made available and a course in the ravines will still be setup for participants to practice on their own.
