Most of the children\, but not all\, were Jews and many of the parents who had sent them to safety perished in the Holocaust. Most of the children settled in Britain\; others re-emigrated to Israel\, the Americas\, and elsewhere\, scattering over the world.  \;A History of the Kindertransport \;traces the epic journey from 1938 into the 21st century. This exhibit is free and open to the public during normal library operating hours.\n\n SUMMARY:A History of the Kindertransport PRIORITY:3 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
