	As part of the&nbsp;African Diaspora Conversation Series, Dr. Scott Stabler, Associate Professor of History, along with Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at Baldwin Wallace College, Mary Owusu, will be a presenting the lecture:\r\n

	Professor Owusu is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast where she currently works as a lecturer in the Department of History.&nbsp; She was the elected Cadbury Fellow at the Center for West African Studies, University of Birmingham, UK.&nbsp; Her research interests cover issues related to Asante history, environmental history and the history of the oil palm industry in Ghana.&nbsp; She is currently a Fulbright scholar-in-residence at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.\r\n

	Professor Stabler&rsquo;s research focuses on post-Civil War governmental policy and race. &nbsp;Currently in his eighth year in the Department of History at Grand Valley State University, he has most recently taught at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana on a Fulbright Scholarship in 2011.\r\n
