De-Valera N. Y. M. Botchway is a lecturer in the Departments of History and African Studies at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.&nbsp; His research interests are African and African Diaspora cultures, Colonial and Post-colonial history, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, biographies, popular culture, African Nationalism and Pan Africanism.&nbsp; He was a Research Fellow in African Studies (History) at the University of Cambridge, England, UK and Global Academic Partner and Fellow at the University of South Florida.\r\n
