Most scholarships and fellowships requiere that you write a personal statement.  They are designed to give the selection committee a sense of who you are and how closely your goals, strengths, and experiences match the ideals of a specific award, so they are a crucial part of your application.\r\n
Bring a draft of a statement, if you have one.  Writing consultants will be available to help you generate and develop ideas for your statement through this hands-on workshop.
