DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Haley Otman, a GVSU senior, hosts an informational event about the reasons for studying abroad, and shares some cultural differences she encountered abroad. Everyone CAN study abroad, and though the presentation will be more focused on Spain (that's where she went), it is applicable to all majors and locations of interest. The presentation is sponsored by API Study Abroad, the company through which Haley traveled, so there will be some information available (pamphlets, books) for those who want to learn more about API. It is also a scholarship event for Phi Sigma Pi honors fraternity. Feel free to show up at any time, and to leave early if needed. Bring any questions you have about how study abroad can help your resume/career, why you should do it, or any specific cultural questions-- she can either answer your question or help you figure it out!
