Human Resources Career Development Series
Session 1: Resume and Cover Letter Writing
This workshop will include interactive career assessments and occupational exploration exercises, but the main focus of this session will be resume and cover letter development. The basic resume content and composition will be included with emphasis on creating polished documents that will make an impact and stand apart from the competition. This seminar will be brown bag lunch format.

Session 2: Interviewing Skills
This workshop focuses on the art of the interview. How to relay your talent, experience and skills in the best light; reduce your stress and increase ability to answer challenging questions. If time allows, mock interviews will be conducted and resumes/cover letters will be reviewed. This seminar will be in brown bag format.

Session 3: The Job Search
This final workshop focuses on developing and implementing a successful job search plan. Creating a career portfolio; setting goals and keeping them; honing job search techniques (for use internally and if necessary , externally); and networking and informational interview skills developing. This seminar will be brown bag format.
