Throughout the fall semester, Campus Recreation will be hosting a variety of informational sessions. The How-To Series is all about finding fun and effective ways to be fit and healthy! All events are FREE to GVSU Students, Faculty, and Staff. Pre-registration is required. Please register HERE.
How-to: Resistance Train Outside of the Weight Room
Want to tone up, but don’t like the crowds at the weight room? Are you too busy to make it to the recreation center, but still want to resistance train? Come to our informational session! Come learn what resistance training is, how to do it properly, and the numerous ways you can get in a good workout without ever setting foot in a weight room!
Following the informational session, we will be doing an optional circuit training workout using absolutely zero equipment. Rewards will be given to anyone who pre-registers for the session and completes the circuit training!
