How Good is Your Gaydar? - LIB 100 US 201 Approved!

Through interactive panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to "speed date" a variety of LGBTQIA community members in an attempt to guess their sexuality. Not only do each of the panelists have their own diverse stories, but each participant comes from a different background with their own views on gender and sexuality that are shaped by their experiences past and present. The program breaks down stereotypes because participants' "gaydars" won't be as sharp as they think. When panelists "come out" at the end of the presentation, the reaction is usually met with surprise and evaluations from years past indicate that maybe your biases were challenged because you were SO SURE about Panelist 4's sexuality only to find out that your guess was based on a stereotype that doesn't apply to that person. Soon to be US 102 and LIB 100 approved!
