Holiday Celebration - "A Very English Christmas: Music of the Season from the British Isles"
Date and TimeMonday, December 9, 2013
- Fountain Street Church 24 Fountain St. NE, GR
Many of our most cherished holiday traditions originate from the British Isles. Musical selections will run the full gamut from the beloved Coventry Carol which was first heard in the early 15th Century to the decidedly more modern Christmas parable of Brother Heinrich’s Christmas. Ending with the magnificent and uplifting Gloria by the world-renowned English composer, John Rutter, this unique performance event featuring the most beloved British Christmas music will end the 2013 Fall Arts performance season on the highest of notes. From all of us at Grand Valley State University, we hope this will be a magical addition to your holiday season.
