Description:
The goal of the program is to raise awareness to the local and global problem of child sexual abuse/trafficking, and to discuss how they are different. The participants will come away with a better understanding of the situation that children find themselves in due to society/culture/parenting/education/finances… and hopefully raise a call to action. The participants will better understand the global problem and reflect its connection to the local problem. How/what does trafficking and child sexual abuse say about a culture and what impact does it have on the future of our societies. A group of panelist will lead the discussion from both a child advocate perspective and social and international framework.
