Mother Goose (Ravel) and The Boy Who Wouldn't do His Homework (Ravel). It all starts with stories from Mother Goose, danced by the Grand Rapids Ballet Company. Beauty and the Beast, Tom Thumb, and Sleeping Beauty come to life in Ravel's imaginative ballet danced by Michigan's only professional ballet company! Next, when a disobedient boy who refuses to do his homework and destroys everything in his room, something weird and fantastic happens. All the things he wrecks come to life, seeking revenge for the destruction he has caused.This classic French music by Ravel, is sung in English translation and is a fresh as a young child's imagination!A great event for children from 5 to 75!
