Healing Yoga can be used to stretch, grow, heal and support, and we hope to provide a safe place and atmosphere necessary for all of this. The aim of the program is to care for and empower those that have experienced sexual violence, while also providing advocates, friends and family a way to show support while also becoming educated. Our goal is to establish a fun, educational, and powerful yoga experience for all students, faculty and staff of Grand Valley State University.
This program runs weekly on Thursdays Sept. 13 to Dec 6 from 7pm-7:45pm

Pre-registration is not required.
Program Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be introduced to new techniques that will help them address stress, anxiety or depression they may be experiencing.
Participants will be able to perform and incorporate yoga poses to utilize for physical and emotional
Participants will understand how performing relaxation exercises can positively affect their health.
