Free Cholesterol Clinic - APPOINTMENT REQUIRED

Monday, October 1 from  8am - 11 am

Tuesday, October 2  from 8am - 11 am

Wednesday, October 3  from 8am - 11 am

This free event is open to all students, faculty, and staff members. All results will be kept confidential. Individuals must fast and not eat or drink anything besides water for 12 hours prior to the test. The test involves blood drawn from a finger-stick poke, and will test for total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and glucose. If you’ve never had your cholesterol tested and are wondering if you are at risk for high cholesterol, this is the test to have done! Appointments are required; call the FWC to schedule an appointment at 331-3659. 

The purpose of the program is to:

• Educate individuals on what cholesterol is
• Educate individuals on the risks of high cholesterol
• Educate inidividuals what their current cholesterol levels are
• Educate individuals on ways to help manage cholesterol.
