Why is the history of the Disability Rights Movement important to young people today? What were some of the important events, laws, organizations, and people that have changed the way people with disabilities access their communities and participate in the choices surrounding their daily living? From, the history of deinstitutionalization to the importance of continued advocacy, this seminar covers the importance and power of Disability History.
