Originating from nearly 50 countries and ethnic groups, the Asian Pacific Islander Americans (APIA) is a diverse group enriched with unique migration pattersn, histories, languages, customs and cultures. The APIAs speak over 100 languages and dialects. ExplorAsia seeks to heighten the awareness and understanding of the complexity of this diverse group by creating a spave for APIA students to educate our campus community on their native country through presentation and stories. A map of Asia will be on display for students to highlight their family's ethnicity and trace their roots.
