Named after Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino of Perugia, Italy (sister city of Grand Rapids), the Perugino String Quartet has been the quartet-in-residence at GVSU for fifteen years. The ensemble is dedicated to performing great classics of the string quartet repertoire and a variety of interesting and exciting new chamber works. The members of the Perugino String Quartet are violinists Gregory Maytan and Eric Tanner, violist Barbara Corbato, and cellist Stacey Bosman Tanner.
