Grand Valley Winds, Grand Valley State University's own faculty wind quintet, present a classic of repertoire: Quintet, Op. 43, by Carl Nielsen, along with works by Ference Farkas, Jurriaan Andriessen, and Karl Pills. Composed of GVSU faculty members Christopher Kantner, flute; Marlen Vavrikova, oboe; John Varineau, clarinet; John Clapp, bassoon; and Richard Britsch, horn, Grand Valley Winds is dedicated to promoting and sharing their passion for chamber music with audiences in recitals, public school clinics, and during instruments days at GVSU.
