Grand Valley State University's own faculty wind quintet, Grand Valley Winds, presents music for woodwind quintet by composers Petr Eben, Robert Muczynski, and Karl Pills. Comprised of GVSU faculty members Christopher Kantner, flute; Marlen Vavrikola, oboe; John Varineau, clarinet; John Clapp, bassoon; and Richard Bristch, horn; Grand Valley Winds is dedicated to promoting and sharing their passion for chamber music with audiences in recitals, public school clinics, and during annual instrument days at GVSU.
