Music for Flute and Keyboards featuring flutist Christopher Kantner, pianist Julianne Vanden Wyngaard, and Greg Secor, marimba. Since joining the Grand Rapids Symphony in 1976, Kantner has made numerous solo appearances with the orchestra, playing works fo Bach, Mozart, Lucas foss, Nielsen, Martin, and Schoenfeld. His work as a soloist and chamber player is well known to Michigan audiences through his association with the Fontana Ensemble and as a charter member of Baroque and Beyond, the Mackinac Trio, and the Hartwick Duo.
A noted concert pianist, Julianne Vanden Wyngaard joined Grand Valley's music faculty in 1967. Her work at GVSU has included both piano studio and classroom teaching, management of the Arts at Noon Seires, unit head for the music department for 12 years, and as University Carillonneur. Greg Secor is an adjunct professor of music at Grand Valley.
