There are many programs available to help individuals with limited funds get food:

  • Ottawa County Community Action Agency
    This program was designed to help seniors aged 60 and over, and those who are ineligible for the Women, Infants and Children program (WIC), who are pregnant, breast-feeding or one-year post-partum mothers - and children under age six. They have a monthly food distribution at a number of different locations. Visit the site above to see when and where they will be distributing food. This is a first come, first serve basis.   • Women's Center Food Pantry

    Located at 1201 Kirkhof this food pantry was made for GVSU student's struggling with their food needs. You will need to fill out an intake form, be sure to bring your GVSU ID. You will be able to fill one grocery bag with non-perishable foods. For more information contact the Women's Center at 616-331-2748.
