ESSU: ERP Speaker Series - Dow Corning

This meeting was one of the ERP Speaker Series for the year. It took place in the Seidman Forum. There were __ attendees. Dow Corning was the company that presented and Kurt Partlo was speaker representing Dow Corning. This session started at 6:00 p.m. and ended at 7:00 p.m.
During this Speaker Series, Kurt Partlo, Finance Business Process Leader, from Dow Corning spoke. He talked about Dow Corning in general and the atmosphere. He told us what we could expect from the corporate culture. He really talked about Business Processes within Dow Corning and how they run them. They use EPM, Enterprise Project Management, to run their organization and use project drivers as well. Two GVSU students and ESSU members, Audrey Koons and Megan Wagner, spoke about their summer internship experience they had this past summer with Dow Corning. This gave everyone what they can expect from Dow Corning during a summer internship experience. The session ended with a question and answer session. After Kurt finished speaking, there was the opportunity to network with him as well. All attendees were scanned out at the end of the session. The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
