ESSU Company Information Session Featuring oXya A Hitachi Data Systems Company 3/16/2016

This meeting began at 6:00 p.m. in SCB 1013 on March 16, 2016. During this meeting, ESSU was fortunate enough to video chat with Mark Regula and John Micale from oXya, a Hitachi Data Systems company. oXya is a SAP technical and hosting solutions company. They have over 600 employees and help hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide with SAP support. Mark Regula is a GVSU and ESSU alumni. Mark also was an ERP intern for GVSU.
John started out the meeting telling us about oXya and what the company is all about. oXya started in France in 1998. Mark and John’s office is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. They showed us their amazing view of the New York City skyline through the video chat, which we are all super envious about now. During the second half of the meeting, we were lucky enough to hear how GVSU and the ERP program helped Mark get to where he is today. Throughout the meeting, our students were allowed to ask any questions we had. Many of our students seemed really interested to learn more about oXya after the meeting ended. The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
