Technology Grant for Sustainable Agriculture

Prof. Sheila Blackman received a Technology Enhancement Grant from GVSU's Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center to support her Spring 2015 BIO 319: Global Sustainable Agriculture course. Students are using a variety of hand tools purchased with the grant funds in their research plots at the Sustainable Agriculture Project site on Luce St. at the Allendale campus. BIO 319 is part of the Environmental Studies minor, the Sustainable Food Systems undergraduate certificate, and is one of the courses included in the Environmental Studies Summer Experience 2015.
