Senior Project I & II (EGR 485/486)
Senior Engineering Project I and II (EGR 485/486) at Grand Valley State University's Padnos School of Engineering is an intensive two-semester course. The objective of the two course captone sequence is to integrate real-world industrial design and build projects into culminating experience, for all of our engineering students in Computer, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Mechanical engineering disciplines.
Interdisciplinary teams of students are introduced to various aspects of the design process and project management including teambuilding, effective communications, meeting management, conflict resolution, and leadership. They are required to successfully complete an industry-sponsored design and build project as part of their graduation requirements.
