Dr. Pawloski came to Grand Valley in August 2005 after teaching at Hope College. She received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and earned both her MS and PhD in Engineering Mechanics from Iowa State University.
Dr. Pawloski’s teaching and research interests include applied mathematics, mechanics of materials, elasticity, and retention issues.
She is currently the chief advisor for Grand Valley’s chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society.
