Professor Yackish joined the faculty in 1985.  He has a BSEE from Purdue
(1960) and an MSEE from Illinois (1962).  He is involved with Tau Beta Pi
and Eta Kappa Nu.  Professor Yackish's areas of specialization are in analog systems, electro-mechanics, acoustics, and mechanical to electrical analogies.  Besides these specialties, he has taught circuits, analog electronics,
communications and the freshman seminar.
