Education Foundation Scholarships
SME is offering extensive scholarship and fellowship assistance for current engineering students and for high school seniors preparing to attend college in engineering.
Deadline for applications is February 1.

Carol A. Ratza Memorial Scholarship
Sponsored by the Great Lakes Commission
Applications due by March 31
Criteria:
*Open to high school seniors and current college students who will be enrolled at a Great Lakes college or university in Fall 2005
*Students should have an interest in electronic communication technology and its applications in the Great Lakes Region

East Michigan Chapter, Scholarships

Applications due by February 26
Criteria:
*Open to students who are seniors or graduate students or going into their senior year or into graduate school
*Open to students studying for a career in air pollution control, hazardous waste management or other environmental areas
*Field of study should be engineering, physical or natural sciences, public health, law or natural resources
*3.0 GPA
*Five $1500 awards

ASHRAE Engineering Scholarships
Sponsored by the American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers
Applications due by December 1
Criteria:
*Open to undergraduate engineering students enrolled in an ABET accredited program leading to a Bachelor of Science or an Engineering degree
*Awards range from $3000 to $10,000
*Engineering technology scholarships and graduate fellowships are also available

Michigan Society of Professional Engineers Scholarships
MSPE is offering 6 scholarships for up to $3000 to students pursuing an engineering degree at ABET accredited colleges or universities in the state of Michigan.
Deadline for submitting applications is the first week of April.
