Stop Bullying is a federal government website managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that provides resources to prevent bullying.

The Michigan Literacy Project (MLP) was developed by GVSU to address the needs of our recent graduates and their young students. MLP’s mission is to provide quality classroom libraries to recent Education graduates teaching 3 years or less in Pre-K through 6th grade classrooms in an underserved Michigan public school districts and GVSU charter schools across the state.

Groundswell provides many program materials, forms, and project funding applications.

Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative (GLSI) sparks new ways for teachers and students to learn from the world around them. 

North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE)  promotes excellence in environmental education throughout North America and the world.

National Youth Leadership Council serves to create a more just, sustainable, and peaceful world, with young people, their schools, and communities through service-learning.

Campus Compact for Michigan is a statewide association that promotes the education and commitment of college students to be civically engaged citizens.

Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Together we can transform our nation's schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve.

Learning for Justice seeks to uphold the mission of the Southern Poverty Law Center: to be a catalyst for racial justice in the South and beyond, working in partnership with communities to dismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectional movements and advance the human rights of all people.  

HRC Foundation’s Welcoming Schools provides bias-based bullying prevention training. They provide comprehensive LGBTQ and gender inclusive professional development training, lesson plans, booklists and resources specifically designed for educators and youth-serving professionals.

Zinn Education Project promotes and supports the teaching of people’s history in middle and high school classrooms across the country. 

Colorin Colorado! serves educators and families of English language learners (ELLs) in Grades PreK-12 by providing free bilingual research-based information, activities, and advice.

Michigan Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (MITESOL) Association provides leadership and support for professionals involved in TESOL across Michigan.

The Refugee Education Center supports refugees in their journey to become fully participating members of the West Michigan community.
