Description

We will provide educators with in-depth instructional strategies to make connections with the urban student within the classroom setting. The techniques shared, will allow educators to reach their students by going beyond the curricular tools to build engagement and relevancy within their lessons. Educators will be able to gain a deeper understanding of instructional alternatives while making curriculum relevant to student needs and interests. Educators will also acquire knowledge on proven and well-researched instructional approaches to small group instructional delivery, with a specific focus on laying the foundation for set-up of the building blocks of small group workshop instruction.
