Description
Reading portion: Physical movement can help students deal with
anxiety, reduce stress, increase motivation, and attain higher
academic achievement. Incorporating activities and exercises to
develop eye movement helps struggling students with reading
comprehension. The primary goal of Brains-in-Motion is to give
educators a variety of teaching strategies can engage students in the
reading process by incorporating movement and activities.
Math
portion: Today, research supports that movement and cognition are
powerfully connected. Brains-in-Motion presents research based
activities and exercises that are developmentally appropriate, helping
the student master math concepts while simultaneously helping student
feel energized, focused, and prepared to learn.
