Call For Art

Endless Forms Most Beautiful

We are seeking submissions from scientists and artists that explore the history of evolutionary thought; mechanisms of evolution; the multidisciplinary impact of Darwin’s theories; modern advances in evolutionary biology; and other related topics.

The call is open to students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines. 2-D and 3-D works welcomed. Support for new media is limited, but work will be considered. 2-D work must be no wider than three feet, and 3-D work can be no larger than one cubic foot. The gallery walls cannot accommodate extremely heavy work. Submissions of scientific images resulting from laboratory or medical techniques such as MRIs and immunofluorescence are highly encouraged but must have proper approval. Please note that the Exhibition Space is not secured.

Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences Cara Ocobock, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design Vinicius Lima, and Library Program Manager Erin Fisher will curate the exhibit.

Costs for printing digital images will be covered by event organizers.
