Assessment Specialist Post Closing: March 12, 2014
The Assessment Specialist will coordinate and conduct professional development events for GVSU charter schools statewide, coordinate and conduct professional development for Lexile and NWEA’s (Northwest Educational Assessment) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Test, and develop and facilitate opportunities for teachers and administrators to further enhance NWEA MAP testing within their district.
Reading Intervention Specialist Post Closing: March 12, 2014
The Reading Intervention Specialist will coordinate and conduct professional development events for the charter schools; maintain current professional development literacy model established by the charter schools office; and develop and facilitate opportunities for teachers and administrators to further enhance literacy, within their district.
Field Representative Post Closing: March 12, 2014
The Field Representative will represent the GVSU Charter Schools Office at assigned Academy Board Meetings and provide regular reports to Public School Academy (PSA) Boards. Position will provide coordination in the process of appointing academy board members; report any pertinent events, actions, or information regarding the assigned academies as related to compliance and performance; design, schedule, and lead training opportunities for PSA Board members and other school personnel.
