Courses in the undergraduate SLP emphasis (except for SLP 200) are open only to students who complete the secondary admission. Once all available slots are full, additional applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis should openings come available. If you are interested in joining the program, either as a traditional student at GVSU or to pick up the prerequisite courses for grad school, apply early for Fall, 2016 admissions.

The SLP coursework is required for all those wishing to study speech-language pathology or audiology at the graduate level. Students enrolling in these courses may be: 1) current GVSU students who wish to major in Allied Health Sciences with an emphasis in SLP, 2) current GVSU students who wish to complete a major in another field of study but desire to complete the SLP prerequisite courses, and 3) those who already hold a bachelors degree but need to complete the SLP prerequisite courses prior to beginning a graduate program.
The program is now accepting applications for Fall 2016.
