The meeting will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 4:00pm in room 455 of the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, 301 Michigan Street NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

WINTER ADMIT DEADLINE: Jul 15 2013-02-16 00:00:00.0 This is a newly approved degree program and will admit two cohorts of students during the 2013-14 academic year - one to begin Fall semester and one to begin Winter semester. The program has applied for accreditation candidacy; initiation of the program is dependent upon receiving approval.



Applications are now being accepted for Winter (Jan 2014) cohort.  The admission deadline for Winter Semester consideration is July 15.  Applicants who wish to be considered for both/either semester may apply for Winter and then reactivate their application at no cost for Fall.

Secondary Admission Application

 
The SLP coursework is required for all those wishing to study speech-language pathology or audiology at the graduate level. Students enrolling in these courses may be: 1) current GVSU students who wish to major in Allied Health Sciences with an emphasis in SLP, 2) current GVSU students who wish to complete a major in another field of study but desire to complete the SLP prerequisite courses, and 3) those who already hold a bachelors degree but need to complete the SLP prerequisite courses prior to beginning the graduate program.




The program is continuing to accept applications for Fall 2013, but only as space is available.  The program is expanding and is increasing the number of students admitted to the emphasis this year.  The maximum has not yet been reached.
