PART-TIME CSAL STUDENTS
Each year, a number of part-time students are enrolled in the CSAL program. Generally, these part-time students are employed full time at GVSU or other local colleges, schools or agencies in the area. Additionally, there are some students who take a course in the CSAL concentration as an elective for another graduate program.
These students bring their own rich experience to classroom discussions, contributing fresh insights and different perspectives. They may work with a traditional student population in an institution with a religious focus or they may work with adult learners in an accelerated learning degree program. In a discussion about student development theories they will bring a different view as they are "living" the experience even while learning theoretical foundations.
