Aaron Haight Ed.D.
Dr. Aaron Klein Haight has been assistant director in the Office of Student Life since July of 2000. Her areas of responsibility have included the fraternity and sorority community, student organization development, and the Transitions program. Dr. Haight is very involved in campus wide committees and initiatives including interfaith and campus climate. Prior to her time at Grand Valley she worked for Edison Schools in New York, Special Olympics Michigan and the Detroit Pistons. She received her bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, her MPA from Grand Valley State University, and her doctor of education from Eastern Michigan University. The title of her dissertation is “Examining the impact of student involvement and intercultural experiences on student perceptions of institutional commitment to diversity.” When Aaron in not working, she spends time with her husband Wayne (a teacher) and her two sons, Jacek (6) and Vance (3).
