All Community Outreach Week events have been cancelled.
The recent issues surrounding COVID-19 require us to adhere to best practices. For the safety and well-being of the GVSU community, all Community Outreach Weeks events scheduled for Saturday, March 21 - Saturday, March 28 have been canceled.

Closed toe shoes are mandatory. This is for your safety, as you will be walking around heavy wooden pallets and working around different equipment. Shirts with sleeves (no tank tops) are also mandatory – regular t-shirts are allowed.
If you do not feel well, please stay home! In addition to keeping staff and fellow volunteers safe, you will be handling food, much of which is distributed to vulnerable populations like seniors and children. If you are visibly unwell, you may be asked to leave the facility and return when you are feeling better.
Please note that if the Lansing School District is closed due to severe weather conditions, the warehouse will be closed for all volunteer activity.
