GVSU Community Outreach Week 2015 broke records!

Nearly 3,700 hours of service were dedicated to nonprofit organizations between March 21 and March 28, 2015. Lakers in twenty states and four countries volunteered at various projects, from building homes to cleaning animal shelters. The total volunteer count was 1,047 people, which surpassed the 2013 record of 930 volunteers. The purpose of Community Outreach Week is to unite around the world in service in the name of Grand Valley State University. The program, which began in 2008, is a partnership between the Community Service Learning Center and the Alumni Association.
