Unnatural Causes is a documentary series that examines the effects of social factors on health in the United States. It focuses specifically on race, socioeconomic standing, geography, and gender in its examination of well-being and longevity among US citizens. The Unnatural Causes series will include seven short documentaries, followed by a brief lecture and discussion among participants.

Play Day (FREE fun activities to reduce midterm stress!)

Day/Time: Monday, October 6th, 10:00a-2:00p

Location: Kirkhof Center Lounge Area (by the pool tables)

Description: Our peer educators will be at our 1st annual Play Day, a completely free and open event for all GVSU students. Studies have shown that the power of play is strong - play helps reduce stress, relax and clear thoughts. Our office is putting on a Play Day to help students reduce midterm stress and clear their minds! We will have stations set up with relaxing & fun activities, including balloon animal making, drawing, and play doh sculpting. We will also have free goodies like popcorn and make your own stress balls.
