Students may choose to take advantage of career testing in combination with individualized career counseling. The following tests are available. Your counselor will assist you in choosing the most appropriate tests.

Adult Career Concerns Inventory
This is an inventory that helps adults rethink their career choices, life changes and career development. It further helps adults assess their strengths in adapting to a changing work environment and adapting to setbacks at work.
 Career Assessment Inventory
This is an inventory that helps three different career dimensions: career themes, traits and interests, and occupational similarities. Traits are assessed on the basis of activities, school subjects, and occupational fields.
 Career Attitudes and Strategies Inventory: CASI
This inventory has multiple purposes. It provide for an assessment of your present career status, career beliefs affecting your job and career, and a way to resolve career problems. This self-report of your career situation provides information you can use to plan for future jobs and careers.
Career Beliefs Inventory  
This career inventory is designed to assist individuals to identify and describe beliefs that prevent them for achieving career goals.
Career Decision Scale  
This career inventory helps individuals provide an estimate of career indecision and its antecedents to career choice or career development.
Career Factors Inventory  
This career inventory was developed to assist individuals determine if they are ready to engage in a career decision-making process. This inventory helps identify the factors which prevent individuals from making a career decision.
Hall Occupational Orientation Inventory: HOOI  
This inventory is designed to help individuals rate, prioritize, and record personal factors that are important determinants of career choice and career satisfaction. The HOOI assesses interests, abilities, needs/values, and job characteristics. 
COPS Interest Inventory  
This inventory was developed to help individuals in the career decision-making process. Interest scores are based on occupational clusters that are linked with entry level occupational positions. Occupational results are keyed to the Occupational Outlook Handbook to allow students access to current job and career information. 
EUREKA Skills Inventory  
This inventory was developed to assess skills as part of the career planning or development process.
Myers-Briggs  
This assessment tool was developed to help individuals evaluate their personality traits to determine preferences for interacting with the world. Preferences are identified through a contrast model: Extroversion v. Introversion, Sensing v. Intuition, Thinking v. Feeling, and Judging v. Perception. Assessment provides information about our preferences for interacting with people, working with data or ideas, making decisions, and dealing with the world.
The Strong Interest Inventory  
This inventory is designed to assess your career interests. Interests are matched with career themes and occupational scales. Additional interest information is provided for team work preferences, learning preferences, leadership style, and risk taking. Interests are important because career preferences provide a basis for deciding what we like or dislike to do.
The Values Scale  
This inventory is designed to assess values that individuals seek or hope to find in life roles and in work roles. Career values are important because they impact career decisions, plans, work performance, and relationships among colleagues. These values include: ability utilization, achievement, advancement, aesthetics, altruism, authority, autonomy, creativity, economic rewards, lifestyle, personal development, physical activity, prestige, risk, social interaction, social relations, variety, working conditions, and cultural identity.
16PF
This inventory is designed to measure personality factors that depict an individual's personality pattern and provides information for understanding career and educational applications. Personality factors are important because they provide clues to how an individual thinks, feels, and behaves. This information is used to plan for career and educational programs, plus making changes in the ways we interact with others. Personality factors comprising the 16PF include: warmth, intelligence, emotional stability, dominance, impulsively, conformity, boldness, sensitivity, suspiciousness, imagination, shrewdness, insecurity, radicalism, self-sufficiency, self-discipline, and tension.
Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI)
This inventory is designed to assess a student's learning and study skills. It is both a diagnostic and prescriptive inventory. LASSI SCALES include: attitude, motivation, time management, anxiety, concentration, information processing, selecting main ideas, study aids, self testing, and test strategies.
 
My Vocational Situations (MVS)  
This inventory was constructed to assess a client's need for career assistance. It is useful for clients with a poor sense of identity, a need for career information and reassurance of a career choice, and a combination of these needs. MVS suggests that clients with a clear vocational identity have more successful careers.
