Entre la tierra y el ciberespacio // Between the Earth and Cyberspace

Aprimera vista el ecofeminismo y el ciberfeminismo pudieran parecer tendencias opuestas, de hecho representan modos diferentes de crítica cultural de las presunciones sobre los cuerpos de lasmujeres, nuestras vidas y nuestros textos. En conjunto, estas metodologías analíticas nos brindan perspectivas holísticas para analizar la producción cultural de las mujeres en un amplio espectro, desde lo natural y material hasta lo artificial y virtual, y todo lo que se incluye entre ambas categorías.

While at first blush, ecofeminist and cyberfeminist would seem to be antithetical tendencies, in fact, they are complementary ways of critiquing cultural assumptions surrounding women’s bodies, our lives and our texts. Taken together, these analytical methodologies can provide a holistic view of women’s cultural production that encompasses the full spectrum, from the natural and material to the artificial and virtual, and everything in between.
