Privacy & Parent/Guardian Communication

We may notify your parents/guardians when you are charged with a violation of the Student Code if you are under 18 years old.

As a student over the age of 18, you and your records are protected by The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Our office is limited in what we can share with parents/guardians regarding you and your records, however if you would like your parents/guardians to be able to have information to better support you and your involvement in the Conduct Process, you must complete a FERPA Release and submit it to the Dean of Students Office.
