Overview of the Student Conduct Process

If you are somehow involved in the Student Conduct Process, you will be notified by the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR) regarding the situation. It is important to thoroughly read and understand all of the information you receive from our office, including your responsibilities and options, dates and times of scheduled meetings, and our contact information should you have any questions.

The Student Conduct Process is separate from any civil or criminal action and will proceed even if a related matter is pending or anticipated in other forums.

When you are charged with a violation of the Student Code, a Conflict Resolution Facilitator is assigned to oversee your case and serve as a resource to you. They will initiate contact with you through a letter in your student email and work to set up a time to meet with you. During this meeting, you and your Facilitator will discuss the alleged violation, the Student Conduct Process, potential outcomes and restorative measures, and answer any questions you may have.
