Graduates are responsible for obtaining their own commencement tickets.
Each graduate will be allotted up to nine (9) guest tickets beginning in March (TBD). Up to two extra tickets may be available for graduates on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning the week of Commencement. More tickets will be released at 8 a.m. each day following, depending on remaining availability.
Tickets are required for everyone over two years of age. Children under the age of two will not need a ticket as long as they sit on the lap of the person they came with. Walk-through metal detectors, wanding, and bag checks will be conducted at every point-of-entry into Van Andel Arena. We encourage all guests to have their ticket(s) ready in advance of entering. This will help avoid long lines and wait times. Because of increased security, it is difficult for guests to obtain tickets onsite. Make sure you distribute tickets in advance.
The ceremony will be broadcast live online for those guests who are unable to attend. This will be accessible through the Commencement homepage.
Please be advised that the last day to apply and be able to receive tickets for the Commencement ceremony through the online ticketing system is April 25 at 5 p.m. Tickets will close on April 26 at 5 p.m.
