GVSU COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

10:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.
VAN ANDEL ARENA, DOWNTOWN GRAND RAPIDS

STUDENT PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS & PROCESS:

In order for a student to participate in the commencement ceremony several requirements must be completed by the established deadlines.

1) Graduation Application:
If you anticipate graduating at the end of Winter Semester 2012, you MUST complete a graduation application by Friday, March 8, 2013. Applications are available at the Registrar's Office, 150 STU or the Pew Campus Registrar's Office at 115C DeVos Center,            or on-line at:

Bachelor's Graduation Application

Master's Graduation Application

If your Graduation Application is not returned by Friday, March 8, 2013 your name will NOT appear in the Commencement program. Applications must be completed and returned to the Registrar's Office, 150 STU in Allendale.

2) Cap and Gown:
Purchase your cap, gown, and tassel at a special four-day event called GradFest.
