Student Volunteer Opportunities

Ottawa Area Center

Working with six year olds in a classroom at the Ottawa Area Center in Zeeland. If you have any questions Contact Stacey Georges.


The Teachers of Tomorrow group has two volunteer opportunities!


A few additional volunteers are needed to meet once a month after school at Sibley Elementary (GRPS) to deliver a lesson during their after-school program.
A few additional volunteers are needed to meet with students interested in becoming teachers at Union High School (GRPS), after school once every 6 weeks.

Sugarbush Festival ~ Blandford Nature Center
March 9, 2013 ~ 8:30AM-5:30PM

Blandoford Nature Center is looking for volunteers for various tasks during their Annual Sugarbush Festival. Opportunities include serving and cooking pancakes, trail guiding, Sugarbush operations, fire tending,and historical interpretation. No experience is required and every hour counts. Allendale Public Schools - Elementary After-School ESL Program
This elementary after-school program services about 40 English-as-a-Second-Language students grades K-5 on Wednesdays after school. Volunteers that desire to work with diverse populations will work with a small group of students on reading comprehension, writing, and homework assignments.
