This program is designed for teachers who wish to further develop their knowledge and competencies in their specialized content area and also in teaching at the middle or high school levels.
Program Requirements 
Social Foundation Courses - Take one course (3 credits):

Emphasis Area Courses (9 credits):
EDI 639 Curriculum Development
EDI 637 Assessment: K-12 Models and Practices
EDI 638 Facilitating School Environments
Mathematics Concentration (15 credits):
Section 1: At least one course from:
MTH 603 Foundations of Calculus
MTH 620 Modern Algebra
MTH 641 Modern Geometry
Section 2: At lest one course from:
MTH 615 Statistics with Probability
MTH 625 Number Theory
MTH 645 Discrete Mathematics
Section 3: At most three credits from:
MTH 685 Mathematics Workshop for Teachers
MTH 686 High School Mathematics Workshop
Section 4: All students in this program must take:

Research Foundation Course (Prerequisite to ED 693/695) (3 credits):
